Erold Sintilma.
Erold Sintilma, born in Cap Haitian on June 2, 1963, is a master of refined detail and atmospheric perspective effects. Although well aware of the capois tradition of history paintings who knew both the work and the person of Philomé Obin, he has devoted his attention as an artist to the landscape surrounding his native city. He captures the remaining rainforest flora and fauna, and the green still surrounding some small villages that he has observed intently. His works have been shown in Haiti and the United States, and are in collections in several countries.
